Comprehensive Cake Pop Learning
April 8, 2017 –
A great class for students serious about the art of cake pop making.
This comprehensive class is a hands-on session whereby students will learn how to style 24 cake pops.
Su Tan, owner and creator of Popolate has been invited to Pearl’s Creations’ Studio to teach us the secrets to successful cake pop making!
Skills you will learn:
Understanding the texture and consistencies of cake pops
Rolling perfectly round cake pops
Making shaped cake pops
Make a perfectly placed cocktail style (upside down) cake pop
Various ways to colour chocolate
Dipping cake pops to achieve even coating
Simple and advance decorative techniques i.e. sprinkles and/or fondant decoration, lace piping details on cake pop
Wet on wet techniques with chocolate i.e. marbling
Painting on chocolate
Adding gold metallics and pearl sheen
Troubleshooting i.e. preventing and fixing cracks, leaks, yellowing of sticks
Special Bonus! Make an Ice-cream shaped cake pop!!!
What to Bring:
No experience required.
All tools and materials will be provided.
Light lunch provided.
Tea and Coffee provided.
Comprehensive notes and recipes will be provided with this class.
