Private Class - Introduction to Cake Decorating and Cake Pops
April 4, 2017 –
A private class designed specifically to learn the art of basic cake decorating and cake pop making.
This class is a Hands-on session whereby students will learn how to assemble and finish a 6" cake in ganache and style 6 cake pops to adorn the cake with.
Su Tan, owner and creator of Popolate has been invited to Pearl’s Creations’ Studio to teach us the secrets to successful cake pop making! And Pearl Toh herself will teach the tips and tricks to creating a flawless finished cake to take home for enjoyment.
Skills you will learn:
Understanding the texture and consistencies and rolling perfect cake pops
Learning how to prepare successful chocolate consistencies for costing cake pops including colouring of chocolate
Dipping cake pops to achieve even coating and simple decorative techniques
Cake pop Troubleshooting and Storage
Learning to tort, fill and assemble a 6" cake finished in ganache
Simple fondant decorations
Using tappits to create font/lettering
What to Bring:
No experience required.
All tools and materials will be provided.
Tea and Coffee provided.
No recipes will be provided with this class.
