Advance Cake Pop Techniques
August 19, 2017 –
A great add-on class for students to the art of cake pop making.
This advance class is a hands-on session whereby students will learn how to style 18 cake pops.
Su Tan, owner and creator of Popolate has been invited to Pearl's Creations' Studio to teach us the secrets to successful cake pop making!
Skills you will learn:
Making shaped cake pops
Various ways to colour chocolate
Wet on wet techniques with chocolate i.e. marbling
Create pearl and metallic finished cake pops
Add sheen and shine with the use of airbrushing and hand painting techniques
Advance piping techniques i.e. lace piping details on cake pops
Make a perfectly placed cocktail style (upside down) cake pop
Troubleshooting i.e. preventing and fixing cracks, leaks, yellowing of sticks
What to Bring:
It is important that students are already familiar with cake consistencies and dipping.
We encourage students who would like to participate in this class to have already participated in the Beginner's Essentials to Cake Pops Class.
All tools and materials will be provided.
Tea and Coffee provided.
No recipes will be provided with this class.
